Da Paddle ClinicCoach Mark hosts a hands-on paddle clinic usually before the sprint season starts for members that want to give their paddles a much needed tune up. Throughout the season, paddles often get dinged and lose their protective coating making them vulnerable to water damage. This clinic helps protect your investment and prolongs the life and good looks of your paddle. Even if your paddle doesn't need it, it's still an excellent skill to learn and a great way to mingle and get to know your fellow paddlers. |
Public Appreciation Day - Saturday August 21- Save the Date!Aloha Kakou e Komo Mai! Kamali'i O Ke Kai would like to invite everyone to come on out to the lake and participate in the unique sport of outrigger canoe paddling, Saturday, August 21, from 10am-3pm. Twice a year, Kamali'i holds a Public Appreciation Day, which entitles anyone and everyone to learn the techniques of outrigger canoe paddling, get in the canoe, and paddle around the lake as an honorary member of the club. Come on out and meet the officers and members of the club, ask questions, partake in some ono grinds, or simply enjoy a day at the lake!
